The Dominic “Mimi” DiPietro Family Ice Skating Rink is a popular center of activity for the neighborhood as well as the metropolitan hockey community. The rink hosts an ice hockey clinic that teaches the fundamentals of skating technique as well as the rules of the game. If you want to learn how to figure skate, lessons are available. The rink is also available for private parties and group rentals. Grab the kids, your skates, or a bunch of buddies, come and watch some local hockey teams play, then visit the warm-up room which is equipped with a fireplace, concession stand, and skate shop.


The Dominic “Mimi” DiPietro Family Ice Skating Rink was originally built in 1967 and is named after the late, longtime East Baltimore City Councilman. In 1986 the rink was enclosed with a tension structure and the changing/warming house was expanded.
