Volunteers are needed for events and projects in various capacities throughout the year. Send us an e-mail at friends@pattersonpark.com to let us know what you are interested in.

• Environmental Education/Boat Lake - educators, bird watchers, naturalists.
• Events - ideas, coordinators, planners, fundraisers, graphic artists, food sales, stage crew, ticket takers, traffic control, ushers.
• Park Conditions - coordinate work of volunteers with park staff, identify conditions issues, GIS mapping skills, edgers, painters, gardeners.
• Maintenance - Park clean-up, tree planting.
• Newsletter - writers, graphic artists, digital photographers.
• Office and Board Support - graphic artists, database help, filing, web help, phone calling, writers, grant writers, researchers, planners, accountants, dreamers.
• Pagoda - historians, graphic artists, photographers, school liaisons, gardeners, public relations experience.
• Recreation Center - volunteer athletes, crafts people, artists, dancers, tutors, handy men and women, carpenters, computer aides, musicians.
• Tennis - play, meet new players, informal tournaments and lessons.
• Trees - plant, inventory, mulch, water, fund-raise, hands-on activity.
